Trina Butler is a photographer based out of Spokane Washington. She has always had a passion for photography. Using the lens to tell stories through photographs; she offers her clients an alternative to the traditional family portrait. Through compositing and historic photographic processes she brings a creative new window to the photographic Industry. Working with her clients she helps them to create original, personalized family photographs.

Trina is currently exploring in Alternative process photography. Some current processes are Mordancage, Image transfers and Chromoskedasics. Mordancage is the process of taking a silver gelatin print and using chemicals that lifts the silver. The black areas will move and create veils. An image transfer is a process of using a medium to transfer an image into many different surfaces. Chromoskedasics is the process of under developing an image and then painting stabilizer, activator, and developer the image. This creates an image that has pink and brown tones.

Trina received her Associates of Applied Science in Professional Photography from Spokane Falls Community College in 2016. She specializes in Portraiture, Fashion Photography, Studio, Event, and Alternative process photography. Currently she is employed as an in-house photographer for Spokane Event Photography.
