PJ began upcycling materials while volunteering at the House of Charity. PJ was asked to help make beds and furniture out of pallets – something that PJ had never done prior to this request. The first project was a child’s bed out of pallets and layers of cardboard that turned out well. Here’s what PJ says about these upcycled pieces and of volunteering at the House of Charity.

I volunteer for the House of Charity. It is a joy to give someone something very beautiful that they don’t need but improves their lives. Bringing joy to others, helps everyone evolve.
