Even though Kelly paints, draws, cross stitches and occasionally sculpts, Kelly knew that mosaic work was her true medium from the very first piece of glass she ever cut and laid. Kelly is a self-taught artist and her work is ever evolving as she experiments with different materials and tries new techniques. Kelly often uses combinations of beads, glass or tiles for different effects and her art style is a reflection of her personality – free form and spontaneous with a touch of whimsy.

“I love to add some unexpected items into my pieces such as found objects or unique pebbles.”

While Kelly has sold quite a few commissioned pieces she looks forward to the day when she can mosaic full-time. Visit Kelly on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/Teacup-Elephant-Mosaics-and-Art-640485159367361/
