We are pleased to announce that Randy Haa – a Fused Glass artist – will be showing at Art on the Ave this year.
For 30 years Randy’s artistic side was expressed through oil painting and landscape design. In the late 90s Randy took a fused glass class, but it wasn’t until 2005 while making fused glass ornaments that Randy really fell in love with the medium.
“Fused glass has a wonderful energy. That is why I gravitated towards this art medium. The color and versatility are never ending.”
Randy worked with a Portland, Oregon artist for about a year and attended a basic fused glass class at Portland’s Bullseye Glass. For the past nine years Randy’s studio and kiln have been located in Newport, Washington.
