Meg received a BA in Art from the University of Vermont in 1992, but left art to pursue a career in family therapy. After over 20 years of sketching, drawing and creating in the moments Meg could steal away from daily tasks, she has made the commitment to pursue art full-time. Meg’s work is inspired by her children and her love of nature. Meg works primarily in pen and ink and mixed media collage. She has an affinity for black and white images, but has recently begun to add color using paper, collage, block printing, screen printing and water colors. Meg is currently working on a series of images that she is printing on gently used children’s clothing – turning something old into something new and exciting again.
Stop in and say hello to Meg and the more than three dozen other artists that plan to show at Art on the Ave this year.
