This event supports local artists and provides visibility to small businesses within the East Sprague Business Corridor. Artists will be hosted by businesses between Napa and Madelia Streets on Saturday, September 24th between 12 and 6 PM (live music until 10 PM).
Art on the Ave will delight and surprise you with over 40 artists attending this year. Visual art, interactive art, live music and sidewalk games are just some of the activities planned during the event this year. Back for a second year – a kid zone featuring a host of children’s art activities including Mobius, a local children’s book author, works by emerging artists from local schools, and face painting. In addition, Art on the Ave 2016 will again offer an after-hours party scheduled with live music until 10 PM. Side-street closures between 1700 and 1900 blocks of East Sprague Avenue are expected to make this event even more family and pedestrian friendly. Indoor and outdoor exhibits will be open between noon and 6 PM with live music continuing in the Bennidito’s Brewpub parking lot located at 1909 E. Sprague Avenue (corner of E. Sprague Avenue and Magnolia) until 10 PM.
