Chuck has had three careers, two planned, one serendipitous. His Spokane history began in 1974, when he arrived at KXLY radio and TV and was immediately plunged into all that was Expo 74. He continued at KXLY until 1978, when he became a financial advisor.

After 30 years, Chuck retired in 2008. He then began painting and once he got going, he couldn’t stop! Using both acrylics and oils, Chuck enjoys the looseness of painting abstracts and the discipline of recreating landscapes. Chuck has been involved with Avenue West Gallery (2011-2013), Spokane Studio Art Tour (2013-2016), and now New Moon Art Gallery. Chuck is also an Art on the Ave 2017 volunteer planning committee member.

Chuck and his wife Alice have a website, harmonyartsspokane.com and a Facebook page of the same name.

Visit Chuck online and then head out to Art on the Ave on Saturday, September 30th for a day of festivities that includes all your favorites – visual arts, live music, food, Kid Zone and much more including Sprague Avenue’s Grand Re-Opening Celebration to kick-off Art on the Ave 2017 promptly at noon (at Bennidito’s Main Stage).

Art on the Ave – Saturday, September 30 from 12-6 PM (Live Music until 9 PM) takes place between Madelia and Napa on East Sprague Ave (1700-1900 blocks), Spokane, WA 99202.
