You would never know that Mike Ruby has so many film and television credits to his name – he’s such a down to earth, generous person. While Mike has been creating custom artwork and signage since the mid 70’s he’s been working as a supervising sign writer in the film industry since the 90’s. Some of Mike’s recent film and television credits includes 3:10 to Yuma, Deadwood’s pilot, Disney’s The Lone Ranger, Salem and Spokane’s own Z-Nation. Check out IMDB (Internet Movie Data Base) for a summary of Mikes credited movie and television work.

While Mike’s professional work is impressive his dedication to the East Sprague area and to Art on the Ave should win him an award. Mike’s sign shop has been Art on the Ave central for more than a couple of months – from working with volunteers to produce window art for E. Sprague to his diligent work on the production of a-frame signage and interactive art for the big event, Mike has been an awesome Art on the Ave Planning Committee member. Thank you also to Ruben!
