WELCOME BUSINESS HOSTS – to our annual Art on the Ave event. It supports businesses, providing artists visibility and a chance to be among their peers in this amazing one day event. Artists from all over the Northwest and as far as Alaska and Florida have participated. All levels, from the beginner to the professional, from the painter, to the sculptor, to the musician, and all mediums in between are invited.
The last Saturday of September • noon – 6 pm
Event Setup: 10 am • day of the event
(unless otherwise coordinated with guest artist)
Event Location: East Sprague Avenue from Napa to Madelia Streets (1700-1900 blocks of E. Sprague Ave.)
Host Business Fee: $40
We are encouraging merchant participants to donate an item, gift certificate or other item to be included in a grand prize raffle drawing for the benefit of event attendees. In order to encourage customers to return to your shop after the event, we are also hopeful that merchants will provide the planning committee with a coupon or other event tracking device for use during the event. In order to reduce long term exposure or risk of coupons or other discounts/benefits, please consider an expiration date for the offer that is only one or two weeks out past the event.
More detail regarding the pre-event meeting, after hours celebration, and the artist you’ve been paired with will be emailed to you once we get closer to the event.
