Genevieve began face painting about four years ago. Genevieve’s children enjoyed having their face’s painted when they attended events and her work soon branched out to include friend’s parties and events. Lately Genevieve has been doing free face painting for non-profit events working directly with residents in underrepresented communities. Bring your kiddos down to Art on the Ave where they can enjoy face painting and sidewalk games. Fire and police will also be dropping in over the day so that the youngest Art on the Ave fans can enjoy some time in the cabs of a fire truck and a police vehicle.
Come down to East Sprague Avenue (1700-1900 blocks; Madelia to Napa) for a day of festivities that includes all your favorites – Visual Arts, Music until 9 PM, Food, Kid Zone and so much more including Sprague Avenue’s Grand Re-Opening Celebration which will kick-off to our 7th Annual Art on the Ave Event at noon.
